USBMind is a setup service. We install a private, offline AI assistant on a USB drive — a chat model, your own documents, and offline translation. Plug it into Windows, Mac, or Linux. No account. No connection.
We started with one stack
USBMind began as a way to run a local model without sending anything to a server. We still install that stack on a stick — Ollama for the model, AnythingLLM as the interface — still require no account, and still leave nothing on the host when you unplug.
There is one service: a setup on a USB drive you send, or one we supply. We'd rather do that well than sell a catalogue of hardware we do not make.
